Beakerhead and the National Music Centre return for the third year in a row to present Science Genius Rap Battles, a program that uses hip hop to help youth learn complex science concepts by meeting them on their cultural turf.
Top performers from six Calgary-area schools will rap-battle it out at Studio Bell on May 16, vying for the crown of Science Genius Champions.
This initiative is supported by the Government of Alberta, the federally funded Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and Equinor Canada.
