ROCK LEGEND RANDY BACHMAN AND MORE ARTISTS ADDED TO THE ANDY KIM CHRISTMAS LINEUP ON DECEMBER 15

FEATURING ANDY KIM WITH PERFORMANCES BY RANDY BACHMAN, RON SEXSMITH, BEBE BUCKSKIN, AND MORE

(Calgary, AB — November 24, 2022) The National Music Centre (NMC) is pleased to announce additional artists to the lineup for The Andy Kim Christmas in support of NMC, which is presented by Mawer Investment Management Ltd.

Randy Bachman, Canadian Music Hall of Famer and founder of formidable rock bands The Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive, has been added to the program, along with Cree/Métis blues-rocker Bebe Buckskin, and even more artists to be announced. As previously revealed, The Andy Kim Christmas in support of National Music Centre will also feature performances by fellow Canadian Music Hall of Famer and “Rock Me Gently” hitmaker Andy Kim, and acclaimed singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith. All proceeds from the event will go to NMC and programs that amplify the transformative power of music to heal and bring people together. Tickets are on sale now at studiobell.ca/whats-on.

“I have been a supporter of the National Music Centre for many years,” said Canadian Music Hall of Famer Randy Bachman. “My 1959 Les Paul ‘American Woman’ guitar has been on loan to the centre since 2016, being sent back to Canada from the U.S. where it was previously on display. National Music Centre made a home for music in Canada that formerly did not exist. I’m so grateful to now have a place for my own treasured collection and those of my peers. Please make a donation to support the work the organization is doing to preserve and celebrate our country’s musical heritage.”

“This concert is a perfect example of how music has the ability to unite, lift spirits, and spread a little holiday joy,” said Andrew Mosker, NMC President and CEO. “The holidays are all about coming together and we’re eager to do just that with our local and national music community by our side. The concert is over 50% sold out so we encourage our supporters to grab their tickets soon to avoid disappointment.”
