On Friday, September 25, the National Music Centre (NMC), in partnership with the Alberta Chinese Artists Association (CAAA), proudly presents a special Mid-Autumn concert in one of Calgary's most remarkable performance venues.
Hosted in NMC's intimate, 264-seat acoustically engineered Performance Hall, this exclusive event offers a rare opportunity to experience live music exactly as it was meant to be heard. With the audience just steps from the stage, every note, every instrument, and every voice becomes part of a deeply personal musical journey.
The evening features two outstanding Calgary-based Chinese Canadian ensembles — The GCB Band and Rainbow Chinese Assembly — each offering a unique musical perspective while celebrating the richness and diversity of Chinese musical traditions.
A highlight of the evening will be a special performance by acclaimed vocalist Mimi Bao, who will present a selection of beloved Mandarin classics and contemporary favourites. With warmth, expressive storytelling, and an engaging stage presence, her performance invites audiences of every background to connect through the universal language of music.

2026年9月25日晚，由阿尔伯塔华人艺术家协会与加拿大国家音乐中心（NMC）联合举办的中秋音乐会，将于卡尔加里国家音乐中心优雅启幕。
为了呈现极致的聆听体验，本场音乐会特别选址于仅设264席的专业声学演播厅。舞台与观众近在咫尺，世界级的声学设计与沉浸式空间，将为每一位来宾带来一场兼具艺术品质与亲密氛围的音乐盛宴。
本场演出汇聚两支卡尔加里优秀华裔乐团——GCB青蓝乐队与霓裳中乐团——以不同的音乐语言，共同勾勒东方文化与当代艺术交融的独特魅力。
