Montréal-born singer-songwriter, philanthropist, and dreamer Andy Kim has accumulated an impressive list of achievements over his career: two No. 1 Billboard hits, over 30 million albums sold, multiple Hall of Fame inductions, and an appointment to the Order of Canada, to name a few. He has presented his much-loved holiday concert for 19 years in cities across Canada, including Toronto, Montreal and most recently, Calgary. An artist and visionary with a passion for giving back, Kim has raised nearly $3 million for various causes since the concert’s inception. Many know Kim for his colossal hit songs, “Sugar Sugar” and “Rock Me Gently,” but it’s his compassion, generosity, and commitment to charitable causes that makes his legacy so enduring.

The Andy Kim Christmas in support of National Music Centre in Calgary will feature performances by Canadian pop-rock legend Andy Kim, acclaimed singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith, and other celebrated Canadian artists to be announced soon.

“Calgary always brings a special meaning to our music community,” said Andy Kim. “I’m excited to participate again this year and share two nights of music, charity, and unity of the National Music Centre.”

"We are excited to support The Andy Kim Christmas fundraiser concert again this year," said Craig Senyk, President and Vice Chair of Mawer Investment Management. "The National Music Centre has truly been a catalyst for discovery, innovation, and renewal through music. What a great way to come together as a community to celebrate the holiday season!”

“We’re thrilled to bring The Andy Kim Christmas back to Calgary after last year’s sold-out concert,” said Andrew Mosker, NMC President and CEO. “Andy Kim is an artist of national prominence and we’re delighted to have him back to help shine a light on the West. Just as his annual holiday event has become a national staple of Toronto’s Massey Hall, we hope National Music Centre’s concert becomes a tradition for Calgary music fans. We encourage supporters to give the gift of music by purchasing tickets for friends and family. You’ll be giving your loved ones a treasured holiday concert experience and helping to raise funds for National Music Centre’s programs.”
