Musical revue returns with set list that journeys through the decades of Canadian music
(Calgary, AB — December 14, 2023) After an overwhelmingly positive response, Rock the Nation is back by popular demand! National Music Centre (NMC) will host matinee performances of the rousing musical revue presented by Annerin Productions, every Saturday and Sunday at Studio Bell from January 27 to April 28, 2024.
With electrifying performances of beloved hit Canadian songs, Rock the Nation charts over 60 years of Canadian music, and promises to captivate audiences once again. Featuring a cast of local talent, this musical rockumentary captures the soundtrack to a nation, and it’s sure to have music fans singing along.
Covering hits from the ‘60s to the present day, Rock the Nation features songs that inspired, moved, comforted, and challenged a country. This year’s set list will include returning fan favourites by Paul Anka, the Guess Who, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Maestro Fresh Wes, k.d. lang, Avril Lavigne, Shania Twain, Drake, The Weeknd, and so many more.

National Music Centre will host two matinee performances of Rock the Nation every Saturday and Sunday at 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm, from January 27-April 28.
