National Music Centre (NMC) will host matinee performances of the rousing musical revue presented by Annerin Productions, every Saturday and Sunday at Studio Bell from January 27 to April 28, 2024.

With electrifying performances of beloved hit Canadian songs, Rock the Nation charts over 60 years of Canadian music, and promises to captivate audiences once again. Featuring a cast of local talent, this musical rockumentary captures the soundtrack to a nation, and it’s sure to have music fans singing along.

This year’s set list will include returning fan favourites by Paul Anka, the Guess Who, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Maestro Fresh Wes, k.d. lang, Avril Lavigne, Shania Twain, Drake, The Weeknd, and so many more.

“There’s nothing better than seeing a theatre full of people singing, smiling, and connecting with others through their favourite songs – that’s the power of Canada’s songbook,” said Andrew Mosker, NMC President and CEO. “Whether it’s your first-time seeing Rock the Nation or your tenth, this is a must-see show that will leave you feeling nostalgic and inspired by Canada’s contributions to music globally.”
