Arrival & Access

• When should I arrive?

  We recommend arriving 30–45 minutes before your performance to allow time for parking, ticket scanning, and finding your seat. 

  If you’re attending the 2:00 PM show, doors open at 10:00 AM, and your ticket also includes complimentary daytime admission to Studio Bell, so you’re welcome to come early and enjoy the exhibits at your own pace before the performance. 

  For the 7:30 PM show, doors open at 6:30 PM, giving you time to settle in and grab a drink before the show begins. The NMC Gift Shop and Café will also be open if you’d like to stop by before the performance

• Where can I park? Is Studio Bell easy to access?

  Street parking is available along 8 Avenue SE, with two paid public lots located on the north and south sides of the street.

  Please note: The Indigo lot directly north of Studio Bell is not owned or operated by the National Music Centre and only accepts payment through the mobile app (no on-site kiosk).

  Studio Bell is centrally located and easy to reach by car, Calgary Transit, rideshare, or on foot. Friendly staff and volunteers will help guide you from the entrance to your seats. Learn more at studiobell.ca/getting-here.

Food, Drinks & Museum Access

• Will there be food and drinks?

  Yes! Drinks and snacks are available at the lobby bars and the NMC Café beginning one hour before showtime for both the 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM performances.

  Looking to make it a meal and a show? The King Eddy is open Wednesday to Sunday—perfect for lunch or dinner!

Seating & Show Details

• Where will I sit?

  This event offers general seating on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving early to secure your preferred seat.

  The Performance Hall accommodates 264 guests, and every seat provides an excellent view of the stage.

• Does this show have an intermission?

  Yes, this show will have an intermission. More details will be included in the Know Before You Go email sent prior to the performance.
