Join us for a special Seniors' Week edition of Forever Young at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, featuring interactive experiences for all ages that spark memories, inspire creativity, and create connections across generations.
Explore how music can be used as a powerful tool for wellness and connection. Led by certified therapists from JB Music Therapy, participants are invited to experience music through listening, drumming, and singing.
Music Therapy is an evidence-based allied health profession that leverages the power of music to achieve health, wellness and recovery outcomes. It involves the clinical and intentional use of music interventions to accomplish these individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship. Certified Music Therapists practice in diverse settings such as healthcare, education, corporate and community care settings.
Since 1991, JB Music Therapy (JBMT) has been a leading provider of music therapy services, driven by a dedicated team of Certified Music Therapists. Our diverse and innovative programs, developed in collaboration with numerous partners, are designed to advance health, recovery, and learning.
We empower and connect people to their best self regardless of age, circumstance or music background. We champion connection, access and resources through excellence in music therapy services, partnerships and public education, transforming lives one note at a time.
We are committed to strategically expanding our services to drive positive change for individuals, organizations, and communities. Our vision is to advance music therapy through innovation and unwavering client focus, establishing ourselves as leaders in healthcare, recovery, and learning.

Forever Young celebrates lifelong connections to music, offering free Studio Bell admission for music lovers aged 65 and up every Wednesday. This engaging program invites seniors and their families to explore Canada’s musical heritage across five floors of exhibitions, bringing to life the stories — and soundtrack — of their generation through rare memorabilia and hands-on activities. Part of the National Music Centre’s commitment to using music as a tool for wellbeing, Forever Young creates welcoming spaces for seniors to gather and connect with music, community, and each other. Monthly drop-in programs will feature a variety of interactive experiences for all ages that spark memories, inspire creativity, and create connections across generations.
Admission is free for seniors (65+) every day from June 1-5 for Seniors' Week.
Studio Bell admission is free for seniors every Wednesday thanks to the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
