Young, Black and Gifted: Temia, TeQuan, and Moto

Please join us for a special matinee program in celebration of Black Futures Month. Young, Black and Gifted is a showcase of rising talent powered by 10 at 10 Music & Culture in partnership with National Music Centre. Inspired by the 1970 Nina Simone song "To Be Young, Gifted and Black," this all-ages program is a celebration of Black identity and artistry in the Prairies.

Curated by Beni Johnson, the founder and executive director of 10 at 10, a platform known nationally for providing visibility to emerging artists, the series will include performances by British-Canadian rapper Temia, Calgary rap artist TeQuan, and Edmonton hip-hop artist and songwriter Moto on February 22.
