Enjoy the unique sound of Vocal Latitudes, a community choir bringing world music to Calgary. Singing everything from Renaissance motets to Motown, pop tunes to African spirituals, this performance is sure to have the whole family jamming along!

About Vocal Latitudes
Vocal Latitudes is a mixed-voice, non-audition community choir in operation since 2005 in Calgary, Alberta. Directed by founding conductor Frank Rackow, the choir sings a broad range of music in many different languages and styles. The singers tackle everything from Renaissance motets, to Motown and pop as well as gospel, jazz and African spirituals. 
The choir has sung at numerous community events and seniors' residences around Calgary and has been featured on Shaw television and on background tracks for a local hip hop artist. Vocal Latitudes has also collaborated in concert with artists such as singer/songwriter Coco Love Alcorn. The choir has performed at the Cathedral Church of the Redeemer as part of the ProArts at Noon choral series on at least six occassions
