The Scotch:

Dating back to 1843 in Scotland, Glenmorangie Distillery’s single malt scotch whisky will perfectly compliment this historic evening as you taste four of their timeless scotches, including the exclusive opportunity to taste a brand new special edition scotch before anyone else.

  1. Cocktail – Glenmorangie Original: A smooth whisky that welcomes you with a rush of citrus, then holds your attention with layers of luscious flavour, from orange to honey and creamy vanilla, with bursts of peach.
  2. Nectar D’Or: A silky dessert-filled daydream of white chocolate swirled with lemon cream, crème caramel, almond croissants…all balanced by a soft drumbeat of spice.
  3. Quinta Ruban: The finished whisky is a thicket of voluptuous flavour combinations. Walnut and black pepper. Mandarin orange and melted marshmallow. Dark chocolate bar and peppermint.
  4. Tale of Forest Limited Edition: A botanical single malt with a forest-like depth of taste and aroma, commencing with a bouquet of pine, juniper and coriander, along with roasted chestnut and an intriguing whisper of smoke.
  5. Signet: Bourbon for creaminess. Sherry for sweetness. The spice of virgin charred oak. All balanced by some of the oldest whisky we own.

The Studio:

Dubbed the “Sistine Chapel of rock ’n’ roll,” this historic mobile recording studio was used by British rock legends Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and the Rolling Stones. Conceived by Rolling Stones tour manager Ian Stewart and built in 1968, the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio (RSM) was the first ever professional mobile recording studio, built to accommodate the band’s wild 24-hour lifestyle. Equipped with a state-of-the-art Helios recording console, the RSM soon gained popularity among other musicians, leading to the creation of countless classic rock albums. Acquired by National Music Centre in 2001, the RSM has since been restored to its former glory and is now parked next to the King Eddy stage where it’s available for artists to record.

Many legendary albums were recorded using the RSM, including:

  • Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street– The Rolling Stones
  • Zeppelin III and Zeppelin IV – Led Zeppelin
  • Machine Head, Burn, and Live in Europe – Deep Purple
  • Penguins and Mystery to Me – Fleetwood Mac
  • Live! – Bob Marley and The Wailers
  • Alchemy: Dire Straits Live – Dire Straits
  • Harvest – Neil Young
  • Live in Italy – Lou Reed

Immerse yourself in a rock ’n’ roll experience like no other with unprecedented access to the RSM as we spin the Led Zeppelin records made right here in this legendary studio.
