About Justine Tyrell
R&B artist Justine Tyrell has been making waves across the country, with her smooth vocals, refreshing blend of contemporary R&B with an early 2000s throwback influence. The Canada-born songstress, packs soulful vocals, catchy hooks and moody sonics into one incredible sound – that has earned her nominations for Singer of the Year, Solo Artist of the Year, (Obsidian Awards), and features across the county with Virgin Radio, CBC Radio, Exclaim! – and more. Her music chronicles the bitter and sweet tastes of love and its’ unravelling, with her debut EP, While You Were Sleeping, featuring collaborations with pop artist Jocelyn Alice, and producers Matthew Zoeteman and Timothonius. With music always being her first love, Tyrell penned her first song at the young age of 7– going on to hit stages across North America. When she isn’t writing and recording, you can also catch her opening the Calgary Stampeders’ home games, at McMahon Stadium.
