POSTPONED: Friday Night at the King Eddy: T. Buckley
POSTPONED: Friday Night at the King Eddy: T. Buckley

The King Eddy will be postponing all live performances until 2021, following the Government of Alberta’s enhanced public health measures. New dates are yet to be determined.

Roots singer-songwriter and guitarist T. Buckley performs as part of the National Music Centre’s hybrid live music and virtual concert series, Friday Night at the King Eddy, sponsored by Bell.

T. Buckley’s songs blew across the prairies like a Nor’easter, hanging on to their creator as he stormed into the Calgary scene. With his family’s Atlantic roots anchoring his country sound, he produced three albums with renowned Calgary group The T. Buckley Trio. His latest album, Miles We Put Behind, is the result of a new stylistic route, eschewing his country past for a slicker sound. It’s a collection of songs interrogating what it means to be a husband, father, and keen observer of the world around him.
