Make an Impact, Inspire the Next Generation

With the support of our incredible community of donors and music champions, in 2019 the National Music Centre (NMC) welcomed over 680 artists to perform, record and study music with us, launched and refreshed 8 new exhibitions for the public, and acquired 352 new pieces for our historic collection spanning 450 years of music history and innovation.

This year, we are on track to serve 18,000 students (up 16% from 15,500 in 2019), and with your support we can achieve our goal and continue to establish National Music Centre as an innovative and award-winning national cultural institution.

Join us on Friday, April 3rd for the launch of our new fundraising breakfast series. Our April program includes:

  • A guest speaker from the University of Calgary’s Werklund School of Education
  • A presentation from National Music Centre’s President & CEO, Andrew Mosker
  • A hands-on, educator-led musical activity with Education Program Leader, Evan Rothery
  • A spectacular performance on the Kimball Theatre Pipe Organ, our top visitor experience at Studio Bell

Please note, as this is a fundraising breakfast, guests will be asked to give but are not required to. Together, we can achieve our goal of raising $50,000 to support the delivery of National Music Centre’s programs for curious young learners, emerging artists and all who visit Studio Bell.
